Septic Tank
​Test PH levels for acid/alkaline readings
​Inspect for signs of leaking and ground water penetration
​Check the scum and sludge levels
​Inspect risers and lids and tank structure and confirm they are in good repair
​It is recommended to vacuum the tank every 3 years at a minimum
Distribution Box
​Inspect box for uneven settling and structural integrity
​Vacuum the box and jet steam every 5 to 8 years as needed
​Ensure uniform flow
Drain Field
​Inspect inappropriate drainage in or near the dispersal area
​Inspect for surfacing effluent and inappropriate vegetation growth
​Observe the field end cleanouts
​Inspect for abnormal settling erosion
​Inspect as required with a pipe inspection camera
​Vacuum and jet steam field dispersal lines
​Monitor traffic impact
